It's hard for the body to do anything usefull with it until later, you still need it but you should cut it infotech right back. I only take in 50grams of it a day from potatoes. Replace any others carbs (bread, rice, grains) with as much fresh veg and fruit infotech as you want. You then need to up your protein intake to match your exercise level, most of your diet should be made up of protien and vegitables (not the carb ones though). Very lean meats, infotech chicken and fish like tuna. About 100grams a day to start, and as you build up your exercise, increase it. A big tip here for snacks. You should eat inbetween meals! Sounds daft doesn't it, but it will stop you over-eating at mail meals. Buy a big bag of apples, or the fruit of your choice, and if you feel a bit peckish, drink a glass of water and eat a couple of apples. E'-voua-la no more craving, no weight gain :-) Ok, having said all that, good luck with it and I hope you get to the weight you want.
