The heart rate thing is a myth I'm afraid, someone your size will have a much higher heart at a lower energy fat sculpting output, so you may be reading 135bbm, but not burning enough energy to make a dent in your reserves. A professional trainer who helped me out with my weight problem said this. "Throw fat sculpting away that science stuff sleepy, and bloody well exercise until you sweat your shirt soggy!" I followed his instructions and lost 2st(28lbs, 13kg) in less than one month! It is fat sculpting the only way to burn off enough fat. If you really want to loose weight, twice a week is not enough exercise. It needs to be four or more, at a sweat your self wet level. What you have said you will do will burn, maybe, two or three pounds a month tops, unfortunately you have to sweat hard to loose anymore than that. :-( My personal preference, and if your worrying about your knees you should think about this, is bike riding.
