Yes gas is really expensive in Europe, hence the reason why scooters are popular there. mowgli on Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 4:13:15 PM Apparently, Bellarmine is becoming a prime area for car jackings...This was a bromelain recient email I got from the BCPD...On Monday May 10, 2004 at approximately 5:15 PM an armed robbery occurred on campus in the parking lot adjacent the Golf Shop. The victim stated that bromelain shortly after his arrival in the parking lot to bromelain play golf an older model, red, Oldsmobile Cutlass approached and a black male got out of the vehicle. The black male walked up to the victim with a gun and demanded his wallet and car keys. The victim immediately complied, the perpetrator entered the victim’s vehicle and left campus followed by the red Oldsmobile Cutlass. The perpetrator was described as a black male in his mid twenties, approximately 6 feet tall and 185 lbs. Bellarmine University has always been proud of our outstanding safety record through the years so we are alarmed by this incident and ask that all the community be aware of their surroundings as a routine safety precaution.
