| Nothing serious, just some exploratory taps that melded well with my exploratory women's fitness mood. Now I'm two miles out and beginning the far side of the pond. Would there be a sand bridge (easy)? An ice bridge (bold)? A jump (crazy)? A swim (32 deg water, insane)? What I found was the deepest, clearest water piling out of the pond, a substantial delay in tide from the ocean side of the Point. This water... I wanted to stoop, break through the ripples, and drink it, to splash it on my face. |
