A Spanish fitness scientist says he's discovered that cannabis -- the "oh wow!" chemical in marijuana -- helps prevent memory loss in Alzheimer's patients. Now, I'm all for allowing people suffering from that horrible disease get a little buzz on. But just three days ago, another Spanish scientist, in this report , linked marijuana to stroke. So how could a drug that could lead to stroke also help Alzheimer's patients hold onto their memories? A stroke would indicate a choking off of blood vessels to the brain, and it's hard to imagine that would help improve memory. Second one first. This is a case study of one patient.
