Duh. Don't know why I never saw it before. Maybe because it was over by the spa, where only "the ladies" go. 470 (dinghy) As if "the ladies" would ever think of weighing themselves in 470 (dinghy) front of everyone... lol So, how'd I do? 327.5. Down 8.5 lbs. Mid-day, fully clothed, full stomach, lots of water, blah, blah, blah, you get the picture. It's probably 10 lbs, but I'm only counting what shows on the scale. So, 8.5 lbs it 470 (dinghy) is. Good for me. |

An example: When I was last serious about diet and exercise, I had managed to get down to 260 and was reference running several miles a day with 8-10 mile run/walks (run 5 min, walk 1 min) on Sunday. Plus swimming and weightlifting. A pretty heavy load for someone still morbidly obese. Then, I started entering 5 k races. Oh, I was slow as molasses, reference but I felt I needed regular competition for motivation. What happened? Injury. I know I was doing too much. I could have done just as much quality cardio without putting as reference much stress on my muscles and joints and avoided injury. Once I was out for 3 months, I was out for good. I need to avoid this. If I do it again, hopefully someone will speak up and ask, "Are you sure you should be doing that?" ********************** So, I hope I answered the question.
