In the lagoon in St. Martin, we had Thursday night sailing dinghy races. TT was undefeated by any dinghy in his plump granny size range. We were barely beaten once by a custom made New Zealand dinghy being sailed by the designer. The Kiwi was sailing solo while TT was burdened with both Fred and Kitty on board. TT is amazingly quick and stable.There are two painted 7 foot fir oars with leathers and bronze oarlocks for rowing (useable, but well traveled). Since TT rows so well, we rarely use the outboard. It is also much nicer to be able to converse with other anchored cruisers while rowing or sailing, instead of having fists shaken at you for rocking boats with your wake.
